For humans and other living things alike, the gifts of the natural world are happiness. Life cannot exist without these natural resources, which include fresh water, sunlight, air , fossil fuels, and many more. As will discussed below 👇  this is turning out to be more dangerous for human health than “economic development."

Environmental protection is necessary to Preserve Earth. The points that follow discuss pollution brought on by the misuse and waste of natural resources and how it affects life as we know it on Earth. In order to preserve life on Earth, we must protect our environment.

Air pollution is mostly caused by the increased use of petrol and diesel for transportation as well as the burning of fossil fuels in industry to generate energy. As a result, there is an increase in hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, sulphur oxides, and chloro-fluro-carbons. These dangerous gases cause lung cancer, chronic bronchitis and other respiratory illnesses, all of which have a detrimental impact on human health. In addition to weakening the immune system and accelerating “global warming," air pollution also causes the ozone layer to thin, leaving humans vulnerable to UV radiation.

Water pollution is caused by the dissolution of fertilizers and pesticides during river irrigation, the release of untreated human and animal waste into fresh water and the suspension of water-soluble inorganic chemicals from industry. Because of this, the water is unsafe to drink, which increases the risk of cancer and gastrointestinal disorders when consumed. Moreover, water contamination renders fish unsafe for human consumption by adversely altering aquatic life.

Applying chemical pesticides and fertilizers to the soil kills both beneficial and harmful pests, giving us fewer nutrient-dense crops as a result of soil contamination results in cancer and other alterations. The frequency of floods is increased by soil erosion brought on by excessive development and deforestation, which has a catastrophic impact on human life.

Loud noises from industry and cars can physically harm ears, leading to either temporary or permanent hearing loss. Noise pollution damages people's mental, emotional, and psychological well-being in Homo sapiens as well. It increases tension, anxiety, and irritation, which has a negative impact on productivity at work.

Techniques to Preserve the Environment:

The idea of decreasing should be advocated for and put into practice. In other words, reduce, recycle and reuse in order to avoid using non-renewable resources excessively. Make use of energy-saving tube lights and energy-efficient bulbs. Swap out your plastic bags with jute or cloth ones. Put solar panels or rechargeable batteries to use. In an effort to use less fertilizers, I'm building up a compost bin to generate manure.
