Mouse: A Korean Drama Review

"Mouse" is an amazing        South- Korean drama released in 2021,written by Choi Ran and directed by Choi Joon-bae and Kang Cheol-woo starring
       Lee Seung-gi,
       Lee Hee-joon,
       Park Ju-hyun and
       Kyung Soo-jin.

It is an incredible and interesting crime-thriller web series to binge-watch! It has 20 episodes in total worth watching. I swear you'll not be bored even for a second. However, it could be disturbing for sensitive audiences or those who are of underage. So, it is better to check out the censor report before starting to watch it.

(Spoilers ahead!!!)

The drama is about psychopaths committing brutal murders for pleasure. The story is all about 'Who really is the criminal?' You will be astonished by the end, I swear. Don't worry, I am not gonna reveal any of the twists. You can watch it if you want to know. You'll be kept entertained the whole time as each episode awaits a wholesome twist.
The drama speaks about pyschopath genes inherited through generations and that genes are responsible for such characteristics. There is a certain part of the brain responsible for regulating emotions and when the part is underdeveloped, it leads to such characteristics. However, genes are not everything that determines a psychopath character. Environment also plays a major role in it. A person found with that specific type of gene could either be a genius or a psychopath. So, the drama goes on as the authorities decide whether or not to pass the law which gives permission to abort the child if it has those genes. The argument goes if the bill is passed then we could lose Albert Einsteins but if not then we would raise a psychopath even after knowing the possibilities. Watch it to know the end!
Honestly, after watching that drama it made me realise pyschopaths are not psychopaths because they want to be! It's not their fault that they're born that way but still, I don't say we must embrace and have mercy for murderers! I am just trying to say that if you see a child different from others then just don't treat him/her differently because even that may lead to their emotions being directed the wrong way. You will understand what I'm trying to say if you watch the drama. At first, the killer as a child was treated and viewed differently due to his genes. If they hadn't stimulated the monster inside him then he would have remained as a normal human being. What I'm trying to say is that environment and love also can change a person when it is given at the right time. And do not treat a child differently just because his parent was a killer, thief, criminal and so on.            The drama has many information and also moral values.
Do not forget to watch it.
Thank you for reading.
