Story

Kalyani (Devinanda), who is eight years old, longs to visit Sabarimala and see her beloved Ayyappan. But her father insists on the idea till he finally agrees. But the dream ends as fate takes a turn for the worse.  Unni Mukundan is a screen presence. A intriguing role that must be both human and divine is played by the performer. He is a wise pick because he executes everything that is asked of him with ease. He enjoys happy action, and chemistry with children.

Ayyappan personally arrived at that location, drew a bow from his quiver, and stood watch in front of Malikappuram.

The main goal of Kallu's life is to visit Sabarimala and meet Ayyappan. She has dreams about Ayyappan every day. This time, her father promised to take her to Sabarimala. She is joined by Piyush, one of her playmates. But in the exams he eventually faced, Kallu was forced to dash all of his aspirations.They both took a bus to get to Sabarimala.  Together with Kallu and Piyush, he arrives there as an orphan. He then adopted the name Ayyappan for Malikappuram.

Vishnu Sasisankar, an upcoming director, blends devotion, fantasy, and a thriller-like atmosphere in this movie. With a flawless touch, this young filmmaker was able to make the audience feel good about the movie.Abhilash deserves praise for structuring the narrative in a way that conveys Kallu's dedication to the listener. Maybe Abhilash Pillai was able to add the necessary commercial elements to the story.A very positive experience is also provided by Ranjin Rajin's music score, which perfectly captures the mood of the movie.

Unni Mukundan's charisma on screen serves as the movie's life force. By playing Kallu's Ayyappan, Unni Mikundan was able to inspire that faith in the audience.The audience also has Devanand in mind as Kallu and Shreepath in mind as Piyush.The kindness that permeates every scene and the writing is the film's greatest strength.These songs only fit the mood of the movie, thus we can be sure that Ayyappa fans will enjoy them during Mandal. Santhosh Verma's lyrics benefit greatly from the liveliness of Ranjin Raj's music.  .Malikappuram is a current Malayalam movie that follows a different path in terms of subject matter and presentation. Even though the movie has ended, it will still be a big part of Malayalam cinema in 2022. It can be appreciated by all audiences, including kids and families.
