A personal experience of  one of the camps. The camp is based on the idea of trying to copy Mr. Bear Grylls, which simply means we are doing things without any usage of man-made things like a fire starter, cooked food, utensil, or anything which is easy to use. And yes, we are fully allowed to use nearby things like tin boxes, waste bottles, plastic sheets, etc. In our regular meeting, we decided the Camp location & Our leader divided us into 5 patrols.PatrolOreo(Leader Sourabh), Patrol Hydrangea(Leader Megha), Patrol Tiluroteli(Leader Priyanka), Patrol Super Striker(Rohit)& Patrol Camouflage (Ayush) We all are super excited and make so many plans about this camp and of course our menu as we organize a cooking competition.

As per the given time,  we reached to our destination (riverside location)by walking(small trek). When we saw our destination we all are so excited as it was so cool, we all start thinking creatively like on this leaf we can serve food, we can use this & that these things on mind, we continue & reached to our location.

  We mark our area patrol vise this is the 1st thing we do. After the permission of our Leader, we start our activity & wish all the best to each other.

  I'm a member of Patrol Hydrangea, and also an assistant leader of the patrol. As per planning, I and Prinsa have to make the shelter so we start collecting wood, rope, bushes, etc material.We made an A-shaped shelter, an easiest shealter and I learned it from the best survival expert Mr.Bear  as I watch dicovery shows all the time.

After completing the shelter work. I helped in cooking. Our menu is as follow:

2.Roti/Litti chokha

3.Rice

4.Chatni

5.Slade

6.Chach

We enjoy it all. It is too difficult to make food in chulha without the use of cooking utensils. So, we also help each other & share things as we only allow the raw things for making food. 

Now, the leader and patrol leader inspect the shelter and food items. For my patrol, I reflect on the presentation of food & shelter {serve it too}. Patrol Oreo wins the title of best Shelter builder and the result of cooking is still pending as all patrol make so delicious food so Sir point out the food item which liked by him the most, as our patrol chutney, papad, and overall decoration, patrol oreo's litti chokha & Rayata, patrol camouflage's make the best chapatis, Patrol super striker, make the unique sweet dish Jaggery rice & patrol Tiluroteli, make the best jaggery and resin chapatis. In short, we all made the best food in available items (as we face the challenge of making food without any use of utensil)

  I enjoyed this camp a lot, learned so many things such as how to encourage your team in hard times, how to motivate others just by saying positive words, we think very creatively that how to handle the situation when all things go wrong, we help our opponent team and feel so blessed.

The best part of the camp is when I’m on exploration, the way every patrol welcomes me is heart-melting. They keep saying Jaishika ma’am “ye check kariye kesa bana h, or hamara shelter kesa Bana h ” etc, etc & of course I help them for better results. 

Before returing, we cleaned the area, picked garbage and collect all the recycled materials.
