After surviving the lockdown months, our group wants to start our remaining work. So, to boost our stamina and regain our creative mindset. We organized a quick track to Jhari Pani. Jhari Pani is a well-known place for tourists and is located near hill station Mussoorie. Surprisingly, I’m the leader of the trekk though I don’t know much about these places. My team members know this place as they have already visited it.
For an official announcement, someone briefs the place Jharipani trekk:-
Distance 12-15km bring your essential items, tiffin/ water bottle & meeting point location & time.
As I’m the leader I had some responsibility towards my team so I made a special team who had some mini tasks for the rest of the team members for entertainment purposes, after these overnight Planning we met at 8 am.
As it's winter month everyone wore a Jacket and warm clothes, in just 1hour of trekk we were like why do we wear this jacket? It seems a burden to us. We enjoyed our tasks by searching for or solving them in a team. The track was adventurous as our path “the Kacha rasta” was very scary and seemed endless as we continued walking for 3-4hr. Then finally we reached the Jharipani market. Our destination was still far away. We just kept going, enjoying our trekk, nature view, and the weather. Our excitement was at its peak as our destination was near.
Ohh my god, the view of the waterfall was amazing, we felt refreshed. I gave my team 20mins to explore the area of whatever they wanted to be done. Some boys even took baths in the waterfall and everyone clicked the photos. After 20 minutes we had lunch, shared the food and snacks was the best movement as our energy was exhausted.
After spending approx 2hour in that place we explored and also cleaned the garbage from the place and moved back to home. But now the path seems very hard to climb as we were 5km deep from the main road Jharipani. We encouraged and helped each other and reached the meeting point again. Everyone was good but two girls were so exhausted that I had to send them with my rovers to their home so they reached home safely.
Overall it's a very adventurous trek, where we help each other and enjoy everyone's company. Mostly, I got to know that I trust my friends as I lead the trek of 21kms(as per my smartwatch) in the name of 12-15Kms.
