We all have been heard the famous story of “Lazy rabbit and the turtle.” The story creates an image as all the rabbits are lazy and greedy. But rabbits are more than this, they are sweet and look like a cotton ball, too cute and very friendly. It scientifically proved that playing with rabbits can reduced stress.

In 2019, July, my younger sister brings a little sweet rabbit home, we named him “Rabby.” We played with him, taking care of him was like our favorite job. In winter, he plays with our blanket even sleeps in the blanket for 4-5hr.  He was a smart rabbit, well-mannered, and a look like a cotton ball. On Diwali, he was too curious to go near to the Diya or candle, after trying too many times he escaped from our eye and went to touch the light and burned his mustaches but that didn’t loosen his willingness to touch the light again and again. He was a little scared that night because of the noise of the cracker so we cover his cage with 6 brackets. He was so sanskari, obedient, and sweet so, anyone who came to our home wanna took a picture with him.

I remembered when my cousin brother visited our home, his little boy play with him (rabbit) truly hurting him snatching the ears or grabbing him, etc, and in return, Rabby bite him (we laugh so hard) he running into our home and said “Kaatata hai, kaatata hai, ase achi toh road wali gaye mata hai” funniest memory till now.

In Holi, to protect his fur we used coconut oil, he went mad he just wants to have a bath but the floor is fulled of the holi colored but after sometimes he starts to jump all over in color and starts playing maybe he likes the fragrance of the colors.

He was a little weak from staring, we ceared him take him to the doctor usually, but due to lock down all the vet hospitals were closed. After many days, we found a private clinic. So, I and my brother take him to a vet clinic or they said they don’t examine the rabbits as they are small and polite to operate. On May 1, 2020, we lost him. That day, we just want to go out of our house every small thing reminds him.
