A personal trekking experience & my first ever trekking experience. That time I’m a freshie in my unit and everyone started giving me advice for my 1st trek such as wear comfortable shoes, carry only essential things and take good sleep before going trekking, etc.
At the same time, my seniors are like non-stop chalana padega, wait nahi karenge hum or jo dhree chalega voh extra bag carry karega etc.. all scary things.
As per the instructions given we all have to collect at Gupchup pani bus station and it was also our starting point.
Firstly, the leader of a today's trekking team counted us & then paired us. We followed the Wolf style i.e. Assistant leader leads the team and the leader is at the back of the team to help or support. And one more interesting thing is we have our Special team with us for our entertainment purpose.
The Special team started the trek half an hour before us because they had some tasks for us. And we have to find the task slip first and perform the task and show them online. The interesting thing was Individually you have to collect the slips for getting an award.
As it all was new for me or everyone because every location has new energy, new air, and an experience.
At 8:30 in the morning, we started our trek which was approximately 15Km. We start walking and searching for our task and performing it with full enthusiasm. It was really fun. The respective Task is:
After 4 Kms of walking, we take 5 min rest. And continue our trek to the location. Our ultimate task was to search for one of the special team members as he was separate from us. The special team should get the master certificate in it. They hide him so well.
We were searching for him and after 15-20 min we finally rescued him.
The Location was on the riverside and so beautiful. We had given 25min for the Picture and the rest. I have 9 paper slips and it was the 2nd highest score. After that, we collect for our game session. Again we divided but this time we divided as girls team or boys team. We played and the boys were the winners.
In the Afternoon, at 2:00 we ate our lunch while sharing.
In returning we clean the area and collect the recycled material with us. And yes we also had a feedback session in which we had to tell one good point, one bad point, and one suggestion for future trekking. And our leader boosted up our stamina by giving Chocolates to us as an appreciation.
At last, I fully enjoyed the trekking and came to know so many new things. While trekking some of us felt so tired but we collectively motivated each other and moved together. And get to know each other.
