It was 2017 when I started watching Game of throne. Even though it ended in a way audiences didn't expect, it will remain as legendary series of TV history. Those who don't know about series, lets have glance on basic story line. Don't worry , this blog is spoiler free.
Game of throne (2011-2019) is epic fantasy drama. It revolves around the continent named Westeros, which is divided into seven kingdoms. Each kingdom has a Lord of the kingdom and above lords, there is a King of seven kingdoms. He seats on the iron throne situated in King's Landing, capital of the Westeros. It is all about nine noble families trying to protect their interests and fighting for the power and throne.Different character belong to different noble family and possess varieties of traits and depth in each character makes them unique.Here is my ranking of houses.
9.House Arryn -:
House Arryn is Lord of the Vale, hilly region of the seven kingdom.The show beging with the death of Jon Arryn. I use to hate the characters of Robin Arryn and Lysa Arryn during whole show.
8. House Greyjoy -:
Iron Island is small island region ruled by greyjoy family. The lord of this place is not satisfied with his region and wants to take long time revenge against the Westeros mainland . This house has not a single character which I liked in entire 8 seasons.
7.House Baratheon -:
Before mutiny in country, Robert Baratheon use to be a Lord of the Stormland ,one kingdom of westeros whose most of the part is desert. After death of the present king,Robert Baratheon, his two brothers claimed the throne immediately . Shireen Baratheon is only character I like from this family.This family plays inportant role in politics of the country.
6.House Martell -:
House Martell of Dorn kingdom which is full of desert,has very little role to play in this political game in the middle of the show. Their only motive to be in King's Landing is to avenge death of sister of current Lord of the Dorn. Oberyn Martell is my favourite character from this house.
5.House Tully -:
House tully is Lord of Riverrun Kingdom. This region is full of streams and rivers makes it geographically important during this series for connectivity of south and north region. Brynden Tully, brother of current lord of riverland is one of the badass character of show.
4.House Tyrells-:
This house comes into picture form the 2nd season of the show. This region had most fertile lands of the whole kingdom and it provides daily supplies to the Ling's Landing made the lord of Highgarden very important person in royal court. Main lady of this house , Olenna Tyrell and her granddaughter, Margaery Tyrell are my fourite female political characters of this show.
3.House Tyrgaryen -:
This use to be a Royal Family of the westeros. Only two kids of this family survived during the war and were going back to the westeros to take it back as it was their by right. Daenerys Targaryen use to be favorite charaacter of many fans before the end of the show. Her badassness was of another level.
2. House Lannister -:
House Lannister of Castely Rock is situated in western part of the westeros has fertile land and gold mines making it richest kingdom among the seven. This richness ultimately lead the lord of the castely rock do in on important position in the royal court of the country. Current lord , Tywin lannister ,his daughter Cersi Lannister and son Tyrion Lannister are the best political characters one can expect from any TV show.
1.House Stark -:
House Stark is Lord of the North and it is best noble family in this show. Current Lord ,Ned Stark, His wife Cathlyn stark and their childrens are adore by all Game of Thrones fans. Jon , Arya and Sansa of house Stark are my absolute favorite.
