Suicides and alcoholism were the two things that kept bothering me throughout 2018. The news about these could not pass casually. Although there were suicides and alcoholism before this, in 2018 these have increased a lot. Suicides, even for the most mundane reasons, are not a good sign. Suicides of son and daughter-in-law due to grief over mother's death, daughter's suicide because mother-father did not stop fighting, suicide of eleventh grade student who had to live alone after father's death due to relatives working abroad, suicides are increasing at a very fast pace.
Suicides for any reason are unacceptable. Suicidal ideation is always present in everyone. When that thought arises, it must be curbed in some way. Modern life does not give hope to individuals. No matter how much you achieve or become famous, suicidal thoughts never go away. It is our duty to give hope to our fellow human beings. Modern Internet devices and technology make us believe that we are all connected, but in reality it prepares everyone to run like a racehorse. The encroachment of these devices can be felt in what we value today. Each of us is being isolated by design. We have to come out of this. The number of suicides should be reduced.
Confusion or confusion ... confusion in the mind?' Kannadasan's song is said to have saved many lives and given hope to live. When the mind is tired, one should overcome the situation by doing something like listening to a song, reading, writing, playing, going outside. Declining trust in fellow human beings is also a reason for increasing suicides. Keeping the mind always balanced is a very challenging task. That is why it is necessary to do some artistic activity to escape from the stress of daily life. Instead of passing it off as ordinary news, the government should focus on suicides and investigate the causes of suicides and take necessary precautionary measures. Suicides can be reduced by working together with government and voluntary organizations and individuals.
When men meet, drinking tea is decreasing and drinking alcohol is increasing. All the liquor shops that were closed along the highways were opened to their convenience. In many towns, food is scarce even at noon. But wine is never in short supply. Other artistic or sporting spaces should be created where men can meet and relax without alcohol. In fact, today there are no places for men to meet. That place is occupied by liquor and liquor shops. Increasingly, excessive alcohol consumption is very dangerous.
