Inspite of the high volatility Bitcoin has managed to become the officially recognised currency of a country. 

Yes, El Salvador a country in Central America has passed a Bill and became the first country to accept Bitcoin as legal tendor.

Bitcoin was already allowed in El Salvador and making it a legal tendor means Bitcoin should be accepted as a currency to be paid for goods or service like any other currency.

So whats the law all about…

Apple pay has allowed its users to use crypto to pay using its wallet. It has allowed many crypto debit card to be added to its wallet such as Bitpay debit card and coindesk debit and the users can pay to anyone or any service.

Institutions hoarding Bitcoins.

For the last decade institutions have been adding bitcoin to their finance sheet. Those include Tesla, Grayscale, MicroStrategy etc. and these institutions has been buying bitcoin after the price dip. 

Recently MicroStrategy which has been holding 92,000 in bitcoin, has got the approval of the board to add additional 500 million USD worth of bitcoin to its balance sheet. 

MicroStrategy bought these bitcoin at avg price of $25,450, which brought it a profit double its investment.

Telsa holds bitcoin and has allowed for bitcoin transaction and later musk tweeted on bitcoin's Mining and its energy consumption and has halted accepting bitcoin. But working with doge to make it more efficient.
