What is your Hair porosity?
Before getting in to treatement, it is important to understand the factors that influence the product and how the hair absorbs the treatment. One of these factors is porosity of the hair. the porosity of your hair affects how oil and moisture escape from the cuticle.
Three types of porosity:-
Low Porosity : If the hair floats up before sinking. the porosity will be low. This means that the cuticle are very close together. That is, it cannot completely absorb the product and tends to sit on the hair.
Medium Porosity: If the hair is floating in the middle of the glass, it may have a medium porosity. It is an ideal pore type that evenly distributes the cuticle and makes the hair look healthy.
High Porosity: If the strands sink to the bottom of the bottle almost immediately, it may be high porosity. This means that your cuticle will have more space and can absorb water and products quickly. Your hair also tends to have a lot of breakage, dryness and curly hair.
