So, I guess many of you might know how it feels like, watching a series and getting addicted to it. Well, I am one of those guys. I never stop watching. It has become my drug.
Three to four years ago, I was not aware about these English dramas. I only know those TV serials , the ones that typical Indian moms watch which were really over dramatic ( they even sob for it knowing that isn't reality). And then, these web series talks was all I heard and it had come to my knowledge (thanks to my ex) that it was very fascinating.
The first series that I started watching was GAME OF THRONES. The people who watched it may know how good it is. In the beginning, I was like, what the hell ! There are some many characters man. I don't even remember who's who. How will I even understand what's happening and how will this be interesting. But, as I watched a few more episodes, I got the hang of it and became familiar with all the characters and I was immersed in that fantasy or fiction , whatever you name it .
It is just the beginning that feels a bit weird. Obviously, beginnings are always hard, right??? This was how my fixation to these dramas started.
And soon after the completion of one story, my friends and other people suggested me some other stuff to watch which they felt good. It made me watch more and more and now I lost count of it.
Parents think it is just a waste of time like them watching those serials. How could they compare these two? But, I definitely don't agree with them. It gives us knowledge about things that we do not know before or haven't heard before. We get to know unique things and also learn some qualities which helps us live a great life. It kinda guides us. And to be honest, these series teach us better English than what we learn in schools. Not only in English, they are also shot in many other languages like Korean, Chinese and turkish etc. Girls especially are mad about Korean and Chinese series and men acting in those dramas. This also gives them another advantage of learning a new language. It's true, they are really attractive and addictive. So that's all about my experience ( outlook) with series
