1.      A visit to a hill station

We learn much from the visit to various places. But a visit to a hill station is both educative and health giving.   

Last year in summer vacation,I am decided to go to mussoorie for a week. We hired a taxi to mussoorie. At about 7 O'clock we reached mussoorie. We booked a hotel for a week. 

Weather at mussoorie was very pleasant. The whole sight of mussoorie was very attractive. The markets were good looking. The roads were neat and clean. We saw Gun Hill, campty fall, Lal tibba. One day when we were out, wether suddenly changed. It began to rain . The cool air shivered us and we returned hotel.

2.         Telephone: It's uses and.                                            misuses 

We are living in the age of science. Science has given us many boons . Telephone is one of them.

Today life is very fast. Everyone is in hurry. We cannot wait for the message too long. So telephone has become the need of this hour.

Telephone has many benefits . We talk with our friends or relatives in no time. Thus it saves our time which is the real money. Besides, it is the cheapest and best means of communication. Paying only one or two rupees, we can talk from hundreds of miles away.

Telephone has also some shortcomings. Sometimes we received unwanted calls. Sometimes some wicked persons pass dirty comments to the young girls on phone. Many times criminals threat and blackmail the innocent, businessmen.

Telephone has conquered time and distance. It has brought revolution in this age. It is boon for us. 

3.           Flood scene. 

 I live in bagpat. Last year there was flood in our area due to heavy rain 

In the month of August it rained heavily for several days. The water in Yamuna crossed the danger point.

The water of Yamuna river was flowing over its bank rapidly. All the villages of this area were under water. There was water and water everywhere. Standing crops were destroyed. The villages looked like Islands. Some people took shelter on trees. Many dead bodies of men, women, children and cattle were floating on water. Some children and women were crying.

After a long time rescue teams reached there. They were army soldiers with boat and helicopter. Rescue operation was launched. Refugee camps were organised. Doctors rushed to protect them from epidemics. Milk, food, clothes and medicines were supplied.

Water receded after a weak. People had suffered heavy loss of life and property.
