In the part-I of my blog we saw strange flowers such as hookers lips flower, black bat flower, white egret orchid,
Swaddled babies orchid, dancing girls flower, parrot flower, chamber maids flower, bleeding heart flower and
monkey face orchid…
Other than these flowers there are many more strange flowers. Lets see them.
STAR FISH FLOWER
It is a variety of carrion flower. This flower produces a smell of rotten flesh.
If you touch this flower it is hairy and leathery.
FLYING DUCK ORCHID
This flower only grows in the wild of Austrailia. Its unique shape helps in pollination.
BEE ORCHID
This flower looks and smells like a female bee which helps them in pollination. It requires particular type of fungus to grow successfully.
NAKED MAN ORCHID
These flowers are also known as hanging man orchid. They resemble as tiny hanging naked men. These flowers can be seen in mediterranean regions. This flower is also used in turkish delight.
SNAP DRAGON FLOWER
It is widely used as an ornamental flower in decorations. If the sides of this flower is squeezed it looks like a dragon opening and closing its mouth. It looks like a skull.
The seeds of this flower are used to extract edible oils.
BALLERINA ORCHID
It can be found in Southern and western parts of Austrailia.These flowers look beautiful in a dancing form.
MOTH ORCHID
This flower is called as moth orchid as it resembles to a moth in flight. It is very common type orchid and it comes in various colours such as blue, green, red, orange, white and pink. These colours of moth orchid are covering all the colours of the rainbow.

Have you seen any flower in shoe shape???
This flower can be seen in Vietnam and rarely it is found in Thailand. It is also called as Dutchman's shoes as it resembles to a shoe.
OWL ORCHID
If you stare at the middle part of this flower it looks like an owl face. It helps in pollination.
DEVILS HAND FLOWER
This flower has five red stamens which looks like clawed fingers called as demons hands. When the flower fades it turns into claws.
