Hii to Everyone..!  This Content is about one of the beautiful place of INDIA… THE LADAKH… LADAKH is my favorite place… which is my dream place to visit. Here we are going to see some news about the beautiful place LADAKH….

LADAKH covers about 45,000 square miles (ie.) nearly 117,000 kms. The LADAKH range, which is a southeastern extension  of Karakoram Range, and the upper Indus Valley. LADAKH is a Union Territory in Northern India. LADAKH is located between the Karakoram mountain range in the North and the main Himalayas to the South. LADAKH is situated at 3500m above sea level.  LADAKH is well-known for its remote mountain scenery.

LADAKH has a long history wit evidence of human settlement from back as 9000 BC. It has been a crossroad of high Asia for thousand of years and has seen many Cultures, Empires and Technologies born in its neighbours. As a result of these development LADAKH has imported many traditions and culture from its neighbours and combining them all gave rise to a unique tradition and culture of its own. 

LADAKH is one of the most sparsely populated regions of INDIA. Its Culture and History are closely related to those of Tibet. LADAKH was established as a Union Territory of INDIA on 31st OCTOBER 2019, following the passage of the JAMMU and KASHMIR REORGANISATION ACT.

LADAKH is most famous for Buddhist Monasteries, Festivals, The Highest Mountain Passes, Thrilling Adventure Activities, Breathtaking Landscapes, The  unique landscapes Crystal Clera Skies. The BEAUTY of LEH and LADAKH lies in their HIGH MOUNTAIN SCENERY. The region is surrounded by rugged, high-altitude mountains.

LADAKH is the region of JAMMU and KASHMIR named after mountain range. LADAKH has several sub regions like Changthang, Zanskar, Kargil-Drass, Nubra Valley and Indus Valley. LADAKH is a cold desert in INDIA. Several rivers flow through LADAKH.

LADAKH is not only about the Scenic beauty but also the land of Rich Cultural Heritage. This place is highly influenced by the Tibetan Cultural , hence, explains the beautiful monasteries such as Hemis, Thiksey, Spituk. LADAKH is known for its picturesque locations, Pristine Environment, Buddhist Temple. 

MOMOS is the most popular dish in LADAKH. It is a dumping filled with meat or vegetables wrapped in dough. THUKPA is the staple food of people of LADAKH. Its is a soupy noodles with vegetables or meat. SKYU is another delicacy from LADAKH, is a soup-based traditional speciality. CHHUTAGI ( CHHU means WATER, TAGI means BREAD) is one of the distinctive Ladakhiii delicacy rich in nutrition. TINGMO is a famous Tibetan bread food item found in LADAKH. Some other popular dishes of LADAKH are CHHURPE, BUTTER TEA, CHHANG, KHAMBIR, APRICOT JAM. Best time to vist LADAKH is during the month of JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER.
