The disappearing road, yes it exists it is called the passage du goes 

Some of the most beautiful places to visit attract us with their majestic views of untouched nature, while others arouse our curiosity with natural phenomena occurring only there.

okay let me tell you where exactly it is, it is located in France.

Connecting the Gulf  of burnef with the island of noirmoutier passage du gois not offers us some beautiful views but is extremely dangerous too.

the 2.5 mile road that has been in use since the 16th century disappears under the Atlantic oceans water twice a day, every day. During high tide when the sea level rises, so drivers must beware of the upcoming wave, which can be measured by special side panels on this land, stranded on the disappearing road, tall emergency towers are there for people to climb and wait to be rescued. After the water level recedes, the passage is left covered in slimy seaweed, making the road extremely slippery at places.

So if you are planning a trip to France, this wonderful seascape must be in your list.The flooding will submerge the road 13 feet underwater.The road is not supervised so it is up to the drivers to determine if the road is safe to drive on or not.

unfortunately, there are still numerous drivers who get trapped on the road every year because of rising tides.Either the drivers arent aware of the danger or the traffic is heavy on the road and they get trapped in the middle as the water rises.

The good news is there are tall rescue toers that exist all along the road. So if a person gets caught on the road when the water elevates, they just climb the tower the tower and wait for help to come. The downside is their car will be washed away.
