Mental illness is a common problem nowadays. In present situations, many are staying at their home, staying in the same place, following the same routine for months and months, the deaths of people whom you know for years will internally develop fear in you. Many people lost their loved ones, losing a person will mentally affect you and it will finally lead to depression if you are not able to accept it. Many people are out of jobs and have no idea how to feed their families.

According to a report in January 2021, 41% of adults have reported symptoms of stress, anxiety, or depressive disorders. The quarantine has adverse effects on people staying in the same room for 14 to 20 days is developing suicidal thoughts and leading to other depressive disorders. Therapies can help you to come out of this mental stress. Memory therapy is one of them.

Memory therapy :

Recalling old memories will help you to forget the present-day pain. It will help your brain to function properly. Just go through your album, the childhood days and each photo definitely have a different story, recall all the stories, write your thoughts on that one. Just pick one photo per day and every day plan at least 30 minutes of your schedule on this. Memory is stored in different parts of our brain but when we recall an incident all memories related to that will combine and give you a vivid memory of the past. We really do not get any other thoughts when we are going through our album.

Art therapy :

Arts play a valuable role in overcoming depression. This boosts up confidence in you and makes you stay more engaged and resilient. Drawing is one of the best ones, exposing yourself to different colors will make you explore the colors of life. It will help to reduce your stress. It will keep you more concentrated if you want to draw a flower then you will completely focus on that there will be no other thoughts in your mind.

We should always fight to live our life. Mental depressions, traumas will take away very important time in our lives which is irreplaceable. Always find new ways to come out of difficult situations, don't stop or stuck just move on and enjoy your life.
