Year- 1984 time 11 pm. Leela was so excited about her engagement tomorrow with Raj. Raj is a hardworking sincere police officer in the whole town. Raj saw Leela in a cultural program where Leela is a  Kuchipudi dancer, Raj was the Chief guest. Raj was mesmerized by her performance and started enquiring about Leela. After knowing all the details about her he went to Leela's home with a marriage proposal. Leela's parents are also so happy because this is the best match close to Raj. They accepted Raj's marriage proposal and fixed the date for engagement in just one week, and the day has come.

The next day morning it's like a big festival in Leela's house. The engagement was done so grandly and there is only one month gap for marriage. In this gap, there is a murder that took place in the city which is under Raj's area. He arrived at the crime scene and examined the dead body, the place keenly for any sherds of evidence. The murder was taken place in an empty palace which is at the city out cuts. It seems to be the woman was killed before 5-6 days. Her head is separated and some of her neck parts are missing two of her right-hand fingers are also missing and they found so many scratches on the back of her body. Someone murdered her brutally. Actually, police are not sure whether it was a murder or an animal attack. After searching the crime spot Raj found a book. It is an old, leather-covered one, pages are dark and brown. Something is written in a different language and some symbols also. Raj tried to decode them but he failed. He sends that book and some traces of evidence to the forensic department they found the dead woman's fingerprints and another person's fingerprints. So he needs to find whose fingerprints are they?

Raj brought that book home. He placed it on the table and went for a bath. After returning from the bath he found the book open! He observed there is no wind in his room, he noticed that page keenly but he can't understand anything. His friend Venu is a Linguist who works in the Archeology department. Raj approached him and showed him that book and also the page he found open. Venu looked at it clearly and found that the language written in that book is an old language used in Karnataka, and symbols depict the life sacrifice of a newborn baby!
