In addition to my search, I happened upon an article that offered me something quite uncommon on, of all places, the website of Nashik Corporation.

I certainly wasn't interested in this. I couldn't help but wonder why this website felt the need to inform its visitors about the significance of Maha Shivratri.
I ignored my curiosity and clicked on the website's content that caught my attention. Less than a week had passed since Valentine's Day when the claim that "Shiva and Parvati are known as the first love marriage couple in the universe, according to Hindu mythology" was made. The statement reads, "The love story of Shiv-Parvati is called Maha Shivratri, the day of love, and this union of love is called Maha Shivratri, which we celebrate every year as Mahaparv." It was reportedly released on the day of Maha Shivratri, which fell on February 18.
