…I mean , it would be really fake if I said I'm a solely depressed person , I got a lot of things to look back at and smile at ,but the sad reality is that those aren't the things that first run to my mind .
IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT WHAT WENT WRONG .
I remember the time when my bestfriend left me and chose somebody else as her bestie , but what I don't really remember is how we laughed at an inside joke when the teacher said something and the entire class was silent .
I remember the time when I worked so hard and got a 43 out of 100 , but what I don't really remember is how people cheered for me after I recited the poem ‘The Vampire’ .
I remember the time when I was beaten by my father , but what I don't really remember is how he ordered an entire American Chopsey for me while he finished his meal with a plain soup.
I remember the time when my mom told my teachers that I don't study at home and my teachers tortured me for an entire year , but what I really don't remember is how she cried when I went into mental depression .
IT'S WEIRD ISN'T IT?
It's weird how we all make so many memories but always remember the bad ones . If you have a diary , can you tell me how many happy incidences you have written down there ? Maybe it's the problem with our generation , or maybe it's the problem with what we always focus on in life .
Try remembering those good times , the times that made you smile , the times that gave you a reason to move on even though you were in the deepest dilemma possible . These are the things we tend to forget but also the very things that helped us survive -THE GOOD TIMES .
What if , you don't remember the good times because you haven't experienced many yet? GET OUT THERE AND GO MAKE MEMORIES .
It's said that 7 seconds before you die , your entire life flashes in front of your eyes , a magical flashback of everything that you cherish . Just think about these 7 seconds, think about what are the things that you would possibly want to see then , would it be something that makes you sad , or something that makes you smile ? for the very last time ? It's your choice , your choice decides what you experience in those magical 7 seconds .
START COLLECTING MEMORIES OVER THINGS , YOU'LL SEE THE MAGIC HAPPEN . LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO WORRY , PROBLEMS AREN'T PERMANENT , THEY'LL APPEAR WEAKER AS YOU GROW STRONGER , AS YOU START APPRECIATING THE LITTLE THINGS AND CHERISH THEM FOREVER …
