Why Do People Like Making Friends On Social Sites Rather Than In Reality?

Hello guys, I welcome you to my new blog while thanking you for reading my previous ones, huh…if you did.

Be it Facebook, Twitter or Instagram(I am on quora though), you are all in it, the virtual society, through social sites. At a certain age, we soon find ourselves giving hours of our time to social sites as it has become a part of our life(as a curse?).

Just think about the time when you started to use social sites and don't you dare simply say that from the beginning itself. Actually most of the times, people just forget to think about when and why they started using social media. There must have been a time when you didn't even know what a social site does. So what was the reason that you started to spend hours on it? Let me give you a hint - it was at the time of your puberty. But what was the reason? Nothing, maybe?

All of a sudden something called as social sites started to attract you like sugar does to ant. But who told you about it? Most probably, your friends did, right. It was a delight to see your friends watching short videos and memes and chatting on social sites. But what changed in you on this age?

As soon as you hit puberty, the surge of sex hormones made you a hungry for attention of people and making an account on a social site and finding virtual friends was a perfect way of interacting with people, wasn't it?

People generally forget the real use and benefits of social sites and start using it simply for wasting their time. And also, just like I had said in one of my early blogs, trying to seek peoples attention is one of the stupidest thing an adult does. One must know that people have got nothing to do with your life.

What matters is what you do and not what people see.

So, don't think that a filtered snapchat ‘chapri’ pose selfie and your desription with some love quotes in your profile would attract people. And even if it did, they would be the people who have the same ‘chapri’ thoughts.

People search for virtual friends because they know that everyone whom they see on social sites are friends, because it doesn't show our true side to people. It just shows what we want people to see due to the fear that knowing us truly, people will hate us. That's how rather than having a good character, people show their fake side in order to save some people as friends.

Trying to show off virtually on social sites simply means that you have no quality in real life. Saying true words is difficult and not typing them.

And don't you now ask how someone can use social sites beneficially. A nice thing you can do is to first of all stop trying to attract people because as is rightly said-

I have a family to feed, not a community to impress.

And then, start learning new ideas and thoughts to develop yourself socially. Well, even that's why I suggest quora to people and oppose instagram. And if you can't do it, its a smart phone in your hands which weren't made for you to waste your time or just entertain you, so why not just do something better.

And one last thing, you are having a vacation, people have got nothing to do with that, you made a cake, people again have nothing to do with that and you took a selfie(that too filtered), people don't even care about it, besides, they almost act like it deserves to be insulted, even if they ‘like’ it.

Thank You for reading this blog till the last. And Following me might be a very good idea(trust me, for both of us).
