Welcome back to my new blog and blah blah blah. Thank you for reading my previous blogs but I don't know if you did.
Well, the heading says a lot - your schools' science subject, your mother's religious stories about gods, people suggesting you to believe in either ones and finally, your confusion.
What about me? Do I believe in God? Well, actually I do and I do not. That's even more disturbing.
Let's see people's opinion.
Religion, God and the conflict between these walk along. Some people say that everything is controlled by the God while others believe in science being the constitution of the nature (you know what I mean). This conflict is because the people who are illiterate want not to believe in laws as they know nothing logical about the world due to lack of knowledge. While people who are literate, have been told about rules and laws according to which everything works which makes them think that everything has a reason and logic behind it. But what is true?
Well, science seems more relevant because everything it says is apparently always true and after all, they don't say anything unless there is no reason to contradict it. But, the problem arises due to the fact that science is still not able to explain everything that we see or feel. At this moment, religious people step in and claim that God is the answer to unexplainable questions, while we know that they themselves are idiots - the modern religious people, you know.
Well, the movie “PK” explains a lot about this problem. I was stunned at the last scene when Tejasvi Ji asked this question to PK, “If believing in God gives the people hope, who are you to snatch this hope from them?” Even while I did not want to say that, but he was right! If believing in God is helpful, why not just believe in it? What could be a better arguement? And PK said, “Okay,…”, I listened carefully as I was one of them who wanted an arguement to such a good point, he continued, “…we should believe in God, I agree, but which God to believe in? The Hindu one, or the Muslim one or the Cristian one? Who is the true God?” And I went mad at this reply.
Well, both the arguements are right. God is there and he/she (remember, the true God has no identity, no form and hence no gender) does give us hope. But Bhagwan and Jesus are just some names of companies to make money. They are not the true God. They are just great people who speak and work for God or something like that, I don't know. Krishna was not God, neither was Ram and nor was Jesus. Well in Islam, the true God himself/herself is referred to as Allah which is right but definitely he doesn't need carpets.
So, as I said, I do believe in the one supreme power, who defines the laws and limits of the universe which science has still not been able to explain, but it doesn't matter what you call him as - as God or as Jesus or as Allah. There is a supreme God and different religions call him by different names like Ishwar, Allah, Ilah etc.
According to me, the word God is a perfect explaination of the supreme power since it has a full form - Generator-Operator-Destroyer and that's an amazing way to difine him/her.
And talking about Science, we must study it. Science, in a way is another religion itself, with its own ways of explaining the characteristics of God. Something moves and both Science and other religions start to explain it in their own ways, the advantage of science being that it is after all easier to understand. Science never says anything wrong, it is just like a kid climbing the ladders in trying to understand the universe in a definite and explainable way which can be found in the ancient knowledge.
Now think about why the Nalanda University was burnt to ashes.
Oh my Science, 700 words already, I didn't think about that😅.
So I would like to end my blog here thanking you for reading this blog till the last and it might be good(for me especially😎) if you follow me.
