One of the three debaters was a Vaishnava devotee Chikamani who wore sandalwood all over his body and kept a kudumi in front of his head. He also had a CD in his hand. He appeared with Thirumeni, a diamond that flowed big and short. Another was a Shiva devotee who wore his mane tied with a bandana. The third man was dressed in saffron and had his head shaved. It turns out that he is neither Vaishnav nor Saivite, but Advaita Vedanti, a cross between them both.

Saivar said: “Oh, Aalvarkadian Nambi! Will answer this! Did Brahma try to see Lord Shiva's hair and Thirumal try to see Lord Shiva's foot or not? Did both of them come and surrender at Lord Shiva's feet without a trace, or not? Then how can your Thirumal be a greater deity than Lord Shiva?”

Hearing this, Alwarkadiyannambi waved his hand and said, "It will be right!" Vira Saiva Foot Duster! Stop your speech! Did you give your Shiva boons to Dasakanda Ravana, the king of Sri Lanka? Didn't all those boons go to waste in front of the Godanda of Ramapiran, the incarnation of our Thirumal? Then how can your Shiva be a greater deity than our Tirumala?” He asked.

At this point an Advaita Sannyasi dressed in a saffron robe intervened and said: “Why are you two arguing in vain? No matter how many times you argue whether Shiva is the greatest deity or Vishnu is the greatest deity, the matter will not be resolved. Vedanta gives the answer to this question. As long as you are in the lower path of Bhakti, you will fight as Shiva-Vishnu. Above devotion is wisdom. Above Jnana there is something called Jnana. Once that stage is reached, there is no Shiva and no Vishnu. Sarvam Brahmamayam Jagat. What Sari Sankara Bhagwat Pathacharya has said in Brahma Sutra Bhashyam….”

At this time, Alwarkadiyan interrupted and said, "Right, it will stop! Do you know what your Shankaracharya said in the end after writing Bhashyam for so many Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and Brahma Sutra?

'Baja Govindam is Baja Govindam
He said three times. Shankaracharya said, ``Shut up!'' looking at Maudeegars like you!” When he said that, there was a mixture of 'Aha', laughter and applause in the crowd.
