Today we are going to talk about the Tri-fruits.(Mukkani-in Tamil) What all are Tri-fruits? Mango (Maa), Jackfruit (Pala) and Banana (Vazhai). Do you know the Summer Season is the best to get and eat all these Tri Fruits?
Most of us like to eat Mango, Jackfruit and Banana. The three Fruits are very tasty and have more benefits too. Now we can see about these Fruits.
Mango:
Mangoes are very juicy and tasty fruits. It contains Vitamin – B6, Fiber content, Vitamin – A, Vitamin – C, Potassium and Magnesium, Iron etc.
Mango is a very good fruit for High Blood Pressure Patients. It reduces HDL level in Blood. Consuming this fruit may gain weight, cure Anemia and more.
There are many types of Mangoes there. They are Alphonsa, Badami, Sindura, Dussehri, Kesar, Imam Basanth, Malgova, Bangana Palli, Kili mooku Mango and more.
Each type of mangoes has their unique taste. We can make more sweets using Mangoes like Mango ice cream, kulfi, cheesecake etc.
Raw mangoes are also edible. It was very tasty with mild sweet and sour. It is best for making pickles. If you want to eat Raw Mango then you can choose Kili mooku Mango. Sliced them and ate with Salt and Red chilli Powder mix. Wow, I can't describe that taste in words. Right now I am craving to eat like this. Yeah, that is Mango.
Jackfruit:
I thought no one can say disliked Jackfruit. On the whole the Jackfruit looks so hard on the outside. But inside of this, that bright yellow fleshy petal around the seed was something we could eat.
Jackfruit contains more Nutrients like Vitamin – A, C, E, K, and Magnesium and so on. Jackfruit helps to improve the power of the Eye, manage the Thyroid level. Fiber in this helps to get a better digestive system. Potassium and calcium of this fruit make our bones and Teeth strong.
Jackfruit is the natural fruit to prevent Hair loss and Dandruff. It also gives glow to the Skin. We can make more dishes using Jackfruit like Jackfruit Ilai ada, Payasam, Puttu etc. Jackfruit seed is also edible after being boiled with some salt.
Raw Jackfruit can also be used to cook more varieties like Briyani, Curry, and Fry etc. It tastes good like Mutton. Mostly Kerala people cook these dishes very tasty.
Banana:
All time favorite fruit is Banana. Isn’t it? A kid to an older person loves to eat bananas. It has more different types like Sevvazhai, Karpooravalli, Yelaki, Rasthali, and etc.
Bananas have more Nutrients like Vitamins, Minerals, Potassium, and Magnesium and so on. Having a Banana on a daily basis helps to improve our immunity.
Each type of Banana has a different taste and gives more benefits to us. It prevents Constipation, Indigestion. Sevvazhai (Red Banana) helps to cure Liver and Kidney diseases. It helps in gaining weight and is good for the eyes too.
We can prepare more dishes with bananas like banana cake, bread, smoothie, fritters, cookies etc.
Raw Banana (Plantain) is also edible after cooking.Raw banana dishes include Bajji, Chips, Podimass etc. Most of the south Indians cooked this raw banana.
