Hello Everyone,
This Blog is the continuation of my Previous Blog, Childhood games. Let’s see the games.
We make little pits on the land. Players place the small stick on the pit then pull out the little stick using a long stick. Once the small stick is caught by the opposite player he is out.
Otherwise the opposite player marks and stands over when the small stick falls. Then he takes the small stick and throws to touch or hit the long stick. If the small stick touches the long stick, the opposite player won the game.
If he fails, the first player takes the small stick and places the ground and hits the edges of it, when it bounces on the air again it hits as much longer. (Player had only 3 chances to hit). Then the player will tell the distance. If the distance he said is correct, while using measure the distance with long stick, then he won the game
First one player can run and catch anyone; meanwhile others can help who run away from the catcher.
For example, when the catcher tries to catch someone, the other player can hold the hands of the runner. That is called Jodi Pura. If two people join their hands, then the catcher can’t catch them.
At the same time other players can move forward towards the opposite player with different poses. If the opposite player sees others moving or smiling, that person should leave the game. The opposite player can try to make a smile or move other players without touching.
The same way play continues, if any one of the players touches the opposite player while saying L-O-N-D-O-N, then immediately all should run back to reach the game starting point, before the opposite player catches them. If the opposite player caught anyone while running, then he is the next game starter.
There are more games we played earlier like Hide and seek, Kolikundu, Playing with Top, Coming for flower plucking, Kathula poo solli, Oru kudam thanni eduthu, Kichu kichu thambalam, Kho-kho, Thattankallu, Pallangkuli, Valaiyal serthu vilaiyaduvathu, Stone or Sand, Pacha kuthirai, Playing with Tyre, Nungu vandi and so on.
If possible, I can share the rest of the game too in my next blog. Sometimes the same topic part 2 is not accepted by candlemonk. Okay guys; hope you all go back with your childhood memories like me.
Thank you all,
