Hello guys. We, too, love driving and drive to many places for our needs. But are we having a good drive? Sometimes yes, but sometimes no. We get upset with our car, the way we drive, or other vehicles that irritate us to death. Even sometimes, due to our misfortune, we end up with something serious without mentioning it. But is it possible to always have a good drive? Yes, but if you follow some ethics, here I am with a few ethics to make your drive a good one.
Defensive driving
What is defensive driving? Defensive driving is a set of safe responses to potential hazards, including other drivers, damaged road surfaces, debris, inclement weather, and more. Getting behind the wheel isn't risk-free, and employing defensive driving techniques can help keep you and other drivers safe. Some steps to having a defensive driving licence are
Note: Road range can be prevented if drivers stay calm, patient, and alert on the road and practise differential driving.
Your seat belt is your saviour.
Wearing a seat belt can reduce injuries during an accident by 50 percent for a driver and 75 percent for a passenger. Seat belts have pretensioners that hold the occupant in the seat during an impact, and force limiters protect from seat belt-inflicted injuries. So don't forget to wear a seat belt and drive.
Do you know that Volvo Cars invented the seat belt and then quickly made their invention available to the world in the interest of saving lives? They allowed any company to use the seat belt without asking for a copyright.
Carry the essentials.
Documents and emergency kits are essential while driving. Always carry a driver's licence, registration certificate, insurance certificate, and PUC certificate in your document kit. Keep emergency kit supplies replenished with spare tools and first aid supplies.
Good Samaritan law
This is a law in almost every country in the world. If we see a person injured in an accident, we can boldly help them. We are free from police harassment. We need to not be detained in the hospital until the police arrive. We do not need to pay medical bills for them. You are not compelled to disclose your identity. And there is no civil or legal liability against you. So please stop to help the victim. We've got a law; let's have an intent too.
Look access and drive
Look comprehensively to get an idea of other motorists, cyclists, road fractures, and the general outside environment.
Access the risks and hazards of what you see.
Drive carefully to minimise the anticipated risk and ensure safety.
About 90% of the information we use while driving, like the position of the vehicle, speed, manoeuvring, or anticipating hazards, is gathered by our vision.
