Hello guys, welcome back to yet another blog. As you read in the heading or the thumbnail, today we are going to read 10 fun facts that you haven’t heard before. If that sounds interesting, hit that heart button and continue reading. The world is so filled with amusement and craziness that even scientists can't believe some of it. So here are the top 10 facts that will fascinate you:

  1. The Statue of Liberty is made of copper, which must actually look like a penny. But due to the process of oxidation in 1920, it looks green in color.
  2. A glass of water has more atoms than a glass of water in the ocean. Read it twice, and you will understand its real meaning.
  3. Some mountain chains (for example, the Sierra Nevadas in California) have pink snow, which tastes like watermelon. Also, stay away from yellow snow.
  4. An ear of corn has an even number of rows, usually 16, and 800 kernels on average.
  5. Honey can last for 1,000 years without going bad. It is because it contains more acid and less water content, which makes it difficult for bad bacteria to live.
  6. You can actually smell the rain. It smells like a mix of plant oil, bacteria, and ozone.
  7. Do you know that some animals try to be cleaner than humans?
  • Rattlesnakes try to make their surroundings clean. Some even use their muscular neck and triangular head to sweep away all the messy grass when it tries to hide.
  • Many animals clean their paths before going for each future meal. Reptiles are one of them.
  • Songbirds remove all the uneaten food, eggshells, and other trash from their nest.

     8. The moon’s shadow is darker than that of the earth. This is because the earth has an atmosphere that spreads light even in the dark. But the Moon doesn’t have one.

     9. The earth’s crust contains a large amount of gold that would cover the earth itself.

    10. We are using the Internet with the help of the ocean. Yes, special cables called optical fibers are allowed to pass under the ocean, through which we can access the internet.
