Most of the feminist fail to clearly define their problems . They keep on saying “ women are oppressed , women are oppressed ” . And when people ( or non- feminist ) asks HOW? Most of them fail to give a proper answer .. Then those people argue that in turn men are oppressed , they are the one's who don't have reserved seats in public transport ( metro's ) , they are the one's who don't have free buses , they are the one's who don't have biased laws like 498-A for their security , they don't have NGO's supporting them if they are abused .
Whenever someone ask me what's the problem of feminist really , I just ask them this question .. Will you be ready to accept a wife who earns more than you ( almost twice ) ?
Most of them men after hearing the question takes time to respond and I interrupt and ask why are you taking so long to respond ? This is the problem of feminist .. Why do men have to think about it ? Why is the response not immediate ? because you believe women can't earn more than you .. it hurts your ego ..
And some men often respond immediately say Yes Of-course why not ? then I say “ you are just saying this to make me feel good ". Or okay lets assume you are ready for your wife to earn more than you (which I doubt obviously) … Then let me ask you this follow up question .. suppose your boss calls you both and says the company is in losses and he needs to fire any one of you and ask you to make the decision who to fire … Will you accept to be fired , since you earn less and that's the best financial and logical decision ? Again they take time , why ? Because they feel if woman of the house is going to work and man is taking care of the house , its the the most embarrassing moment of their life , their self- respect will be crumbled to dust.. If you care that much about your self respect , then , Why Do you force women to quit their job ? Why Neerja Bhagnot was forced to quit her acting even though she may be making way more money than her husband ? It's this type of question , which are real problem of women … Hope you will give it a thought
