I will share few stories with you ,one of which i witnessed myself.. and after that ask you a common question which you have already read in the title   so lets start

Nirbhaya Case 2012

If you had not heard for this case you  are probably still using old denomination of 5ooINR and 1000INR.(just a joke don't take personally). well i will keep it short and attach links where you can get more information from.

It was night of 16 th december 2012. Jyoti (or popularly know as Nirbhaya) was waiting for her bus with her friend Awindra. She decided to took a private bus as it was late at night and she thought the public bus may have already left . 6 men (who were friends ), brutally  beat both of them and raped Nirbhaya for more than 5 hours and then tossed both of them out without clothes and tried to murder them by driving the bus over them .Thankfully they didn't die on the spot .

NOW let me ask you what was the fault of Nirbhaya was she not FREE to travel at night?

Now the story that happened in front of eyes spoilers alert its not that extreme .

My Classmate (9th standard);

One of my few best friends committed suicide after brutally beaten by her father for not qualifying 9 th standard ..HIs father was arrested same day ..and it turned out he was not her real father ,he was his Stepfather ..

location and name of the girl cant reveal ..sorry

NOW let me ask you was she not free not fail ,to retry , is failing a test for a girl a crime?

My Thoughts And solutions i can think of ….

women deserve more than we can ever provide them .They are the reason why we even exist in this universe. Women deserve respect.

They deserve equal wage, they deserve equal funds for their growth as any average men.

Here is  a quick fact : average height of women is smaller than men because parents spent less money on their daughter is comparison to their son

Solutions;

solution to every problem starts by identifying problem as a problem.

  1. Public transport reserved for women only should be launched
  2. More money should be invested in spreading awareness about how women can seek help if they ever faced any kind of violence ,threat, physical or verbal abuse.
  3. Security cameras needed to be installed almost on every street
  4. RBI should make a fixed percentage of loans to be given to women for various kind of stuffs like education , investing , starting an enterprise etc
  5. specific courts for handling cases involving women should be made so quick decision can be made (would be great if even the judge of such courts be women)
