Girls And Their Dreadful Past

As we all know India is a country, which highly believes in superstitions, paranormal things, supernatural powers, pure, impure etc. When it comes to children their first thought goes towards a “Baby Boy”, for them the only child who can run the whole world is a Guy… They think that only boys are capable of handling the things around, may it be an office, family function, whatever.

But they forget one thing that the one who forms the family, lives for the family, works for the family, is a “Women” We cannot say that girls are empowering today or now-a-days. It has been a long time since women is looking after the whole family without a single day of a holiday. She has to work 24/7 without any payment been given. So, whenever you think that a woman is weak or something, just remind your own self one thing that she bleeds for 7 days continuously that also every month. So next time when a boy cries think twice before saying him that, “Why are you crying you are a girl or what”. God has made everyone equal, so if he didn’t make any differentiation while making us then who are we humans to differ amongst us.

Women was underestimated from ancient times only, they were not allowed to go out or meet anyone out of the house, they were not allowed to go to schools to gain education and knowledge whereas their male siblings were given a tag of “Ghar Ka Chirag” who will make the family proud. Boys were allowed to play wherever they wanted on the other side the girls were taught how to cook food, wash utensils, tidying the house, etc. Boys were considered as Good luck and girls were considered as Bad luck.

Mostly girls were killed in the womb only, and if by chance it didn’t happen so, they were thrown into the dustbins or left at the roads like an orphan. If they had a future then they were saved, or else they had no future. Only men were allowed to fulfil their dreams and choose their career by themselves, and girls had only one career that was marriage as soon as a girl turned 14 she was given her bid farewell and was never ever allowed to return whether it be the domestic violence thing, or anything else. If a girl was married then only her dead body would return to her house, and the worst thing was that if the husband dies the wife has to be burnt alive with her husband’s dead body and if the same happens with the husband means if the wife dies the husband has the full right to marry another women.
