Hi there, welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in good health and are having a blast of a day.
This blog will be focused on greek mythology, specifically the king of gods, Zeus. Those who know even a little about greek mythology would know how lustful and desperate zeus was to get laid. He did some weird stuff and went over the line for getting a chance to sleep with women. Today, we will see the weirdest thing he did for getting laid..
Lyda, the wife of king Tyndareus, who was the king of sparta, was in the eyes of zeus. He transformed himself into a beautiful swan. While being a swan, he came to lyda for protection against an eagle. So as kind as lyda was, she decided to protect and shelter the swan, who was Zeus in disguise. He managed to seduce Lyda while being a swan.
And because of that interaction, lyda got pregnant. It is to be believed that lyda laid two eggs. And this is not even the craziest part of this story. Lyda had sexual intercourse with her husband on the same night. And she also got pregnant with her husband too.
According to greek mythology stories, Lyda gave birth to Helen and Polydeuces ( also known as pollux), the children of Zeus's. And she also gave birth to castor and clytemnestra, the children of Tyndareus, her husband. Knowing what lyda and zeus had done, king tyndareus still saw all four children of Lyda as his own and raised them equally.
Clytemnestra grew up and married Agamemnon, the greatest king of greek mythology. Castor and pollux, were the part of Jason's crew, who searched for the golden fleece. And Helen grew up to be the worlds most beautiful woman and so being wanted by almost every king. Helen's abduction was to be the start of the greatest war of greek mythology, the trojan war.
And castor and pollux were put into the night sky as the constellations of Gemini.
And that was all for this blog, guys. I hope that you liked it, i mean you probably will be disgusted by the lack of limitations of Zeus' lust, but i hope you enjoyed the story😅. Feel free to share your thoughts on greek mythology and this story.
