Loki is one of the characters of norse mythology whose actions are rather funny, mischievious or rather cruel. And also his relationship with Yoten is also a bit interesting.

Loki is the God of Mischief in Norse Mythology and adopted son of Odin. But he also had an evil side to his personality. And his off springs creatures were responsible for the destruction of the Aesir gods. With his faithful wife, Sigin  he had two sons, Narvi and Vali. Another son of Loki was Slepnir, which was Odin's very famous Eight legged horse. He also had a mistress, which is not that suprising given that he was the god of trickery. With her Loki fathered to a rather dangerous off spring.

One night Odin had a vision where he saw the battle between the asgardians and the forces of darkness. And his last vision was of a huge jaw of a huge wolf. Odin forced loki to reveal where his sons were. And they went in search for his sons in the world called Yottenheim. And finally they found the children, who were still young. One of them was a serpent and the other was a Little Wolf Cub and also a beautiful girl. But when that girl turned, they realized that the other side of her body was like a rotting corpse and so she was called Hell. Odin took the children and carried them to Asgard. And while the journey back, the snake doubled in size and was now the size of a Python. After realizing that the snake would not stop growing, Odin threw the snake in to the sea that surrounds midgard. And it grew and grew till it can see its tail, while revolving around the world.

At Asgard, every one were scared of how the little girl looked. And noticing that, odin realized that the girl preferred to relate to the dead and gave her the position of the ruler of the dead. The third child, the Wolf, was raised among the gods of Asgard. The wolf also learned to speak their language and he was named Fenrir. But like the snake the wolf kept on growing and growing. And after some time, it was larger than any animal on Earth.

So that was all for this story and this blog. I hope you all enjoyed it.
