So yesterfay i couldnt sleep and it was already about 2 am. Everyone was asleep but i just didnt feel like it. As i was scrolling some insta reels, i found a recommendation for a horror movie named Smile. So as crazy as i am, i decided to watch the movie at 3 am just for the kick of it. 

The story is quite simple and not much complicated. Watching this movie with high expectations, this really exceeded my expectations. The story revolve around a psuchiatrist doc. Rose, who experiences a brutal suicide of one of her patients. The patient kills herself while having the creepiest smile ever looking into dr. Rose's eyes. And after that moment, Rose starts having some strange hallucinations, the kind of hallucinations that she, a Psychiatrist cant get her mind into. She realizes that to figure out about these hallucinations, she has to confront her own horrific past.

In my opinion, this movie is actually HORROR, unlike some other movies which makes no sense whatsoever. Some of the most horror scenes didnt even have crazy jump scares, they were just truly goosebumps giving scary. It is made with great writing that builds up a lot of tension.

So the plot is that there is a curse, an entity which is passed from person to person. So when a person is a captive of this entity, they experience brutal hallucinations and end up killing themselves with a weird ass unforgettable crazy creepiest smile of their life. The curse is passed when someone witnesses the victim of the entity kill themselves. So keep all that in mind.

When dr. Rose witnesses her patient kill herself, she becomes the next victim. She tries to uncover all of this and comes up with a solution. With everyone being fed up of her non sense, she is left with no one but one police friend who cares for her. But she doesnt want him to be involved in this mess. The solution to stop this curse, was that she goes to an abandoned house which seems to be her childhood home where her mother died,  and stays there. As there will be no one there but her, she can kill herself and face the entity without anyone witnessing it all and ending up being the next victim. 

But after all, the police friend comes looking for her and as he knocks the door open, she is standing there, she turns with 'that' smile on her face, and burns herself while her friend watches. And the movie ends but the curse follows along.
