Loneliness Is Not What You Think It Is..

Hi again…

This blog will be a bit about loneliness. So loneliness is a human feeling about the distance between a person's desired levels of social interaction and their real level of social behaviour. It is often misunderstood by seeing someone who is antisocial or introvert, you see, an introvert person does not enjoy being social with people that is why they choose to be alone but they don't suffer from loneliness.

Loneliness is never desired by a person. People think of it as an illness. Although, it is not considered as a specific mental health condition. But also, it can affect your physical and emotional health.

So, spending too much time alone has been proved as a bad thing for your health. Studies have proved that social isolation can increase the chances of mortality by up to 30%. 

Sometimes the person you want doesnt deserve you, so the universe will try to convince you to love yourself, to respect yourself, to commit to yourself. Don't force yourself to fit where you dont belong.

Advantages of being alone:

  ○ Being alone helps you recharge your brains.

Our mind needs rest and balance. While social interactions are important as well, time alone is also necessary for our brains to recharge itself.

  ○  Increase in productivity.

To be honest, people can be really distracting, even though fun, but still distraction. When you remove as many distractions as you possibly can, you are able to concentrate on what is important, it will help you get more work done.

  ○ A boost for creativity.

Creativity comes in solitude. As a great scientist  Nikola Tesla, once said" be alone that is when ideas are born" . The lack of distractions clear up the road to a better imaginative powers.

Disadvantages of being alone.

○ It makes us vulnerable towards our critics.

Being alone in our thoughts is not a great thing if you are filled with negativity and pessimism.  It may put you down and reveal the wrong things about your inner self. 

  ○ Lead to depression

When you are alone, your brain is a bit different. When you see an image or a situation, your vision shows you the negative side of it, so the world is showed to you through a negative filter.

Loneliness is not in being alone, it is a feeling which no one understand, even if someone is surrounded by people, they may feel lonely. nothing can fulfill that gap.
