Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in great health and are having a blast of a day.

After confirming his power, Zeus fell in love with the female titan , Mitas, the goddess of wisdom. She had the power of metamorphosis so the goddess was able to transform herself into many kinds of animals to escape the great god. But Mitas was never able to escape from Zeus forever. Zeus takes Mitas and makes her his wife. She quickly gets pregnant. However, the prophecy of Gaia that warned Zeus that the goddess is going to give birth to two children; the first one will be a girl that will compete with her father in strength, and the second child is going to be a boy that will be even stronger than his father and eventually will overthrow him. Zeus was afraid of facing the crucial fate of his father Titan Cronus or his grandfather Uranus, who were both overthrown by their sons.

Zeus forced Mitas to transform into a single drop of water and he swallows his pregnant wife. After swallowing his wife, Zeus starts to absorb the powers of Mitas. He now became a much more wise, fair and less impulsive god than he ever was before. As time goes by, the god Zeus begins to feel unbearable pain in his head. The pain grew so unbearable that he commands anyone to cut his head open and remove whatever it is that is causing such a pain. Haphaestus, the god of the forges, uses his axe to open a hole in the head of Zeus. From the hole in his head, emerges Athena with her armor and weapons, already a fully grown adult. Zeus was proud of having a great daughter, who because of her mother become the goddess of wisdom. She also was to become the goddess of defensive wars and the clashes against the god of war, Ares.

Mitas is still in Zeus's stomach and the prophecy of Zeus's all powerful son being born, never got fulfilled. Athena will present herself as a powerful, pure, fair and goddess and because of this she easily became Zeus's favourite daughter and many saw her as the rightful heiress to Zeus.

To be continued….
