Habits That Are Killing Your Productivity..

Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in great health and are having a good day.

To not have a proper work routine.

If you are in the habit of just working whenever you are in the mood, you are setting yourself up for disaster. A regular work routine is very useful to get your mind into that productive gear. To do things only when you feel like it gives too much control to your mental state. Here is a solution on how to do it: work in the same place at the same time. This is a very great habit as it sets the mind up to naturally flow into proper productive mode.

If you are a perfectionist

Being a perfectionist can manifest itself in various ways. First, when you have unrealistic work standards you work on your things to death. Also, it is rather easy to quit when things go as well as you'd liked. Focus on finishing the work and not on perfecting it. And have a sense of familiarity with failure.

Having a big to do list.

When you are planning your day, it is easy to fill a to do list with a dozen tasks. Unfortunately, you are most likely to be unable complete them all. And when the day comes to an end you see that you have barely completed them all. So, have a to do list between 1-5 tasks. Doing this will ensure that you are not overwhelmed and will help you complete your list as well.

Multitasking.

When you are a multitask you are not really doing a multiple tasks at one time. Instead, you are temporarily task switching from time to time. Again, Try to be a completionist. Each time you are about to start a new work, do not quit until you have finished the work. Batch similar tasks. Group 2 similar tasks together and feel free to multitask those things.

Not eliminating distractions.

With every work or study, there are and always will be some distractions which will not let you be concentrated. So it is important that you take steps to ensure that you are not really distracted by them. Use site blockers on some addictive websites. Turn off all notifications. Unplug the video games and the tv. Work or study where others are not there.

So that was all for this blog. I hope you all liked it. Thank you for reading this farโ€ฆ
