Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in good health and are having a blast of day.
Today, you all are in for a good treat ( more like treat of nature and architecture) So here we are back again with a beautiful architectural masterpiece. Today we will be discussing a magical nature park based in Singapore, called The Gardens by the Bay.
The Gardens by the bay, giving justice to its name is one of the Asia's most prominent horticultural attractions. It offers a very scenic heaven for the nature lovers as well as the photography lovers, it also can be one of your family's bucket list for a vacation in paradise. It is spread over 100 hectares, which is about 250 acres in the central part of Singapore, next to the Marina Reservoir. This park has mainly three water front parks namely: Bay South Garden, Bay Central Garden and A Bay East Garden.
The paradise like park opened about 9 years ago in June 2012. It gains an amount of 50 million visitors in a span of one month.
The super tree observatory.
On a height of a 16 storey building, a super tree's canopy holds an observatory to have a look over the surroundings of the Garden
Now if you are wondering about the cost of this massive garden, let me tell you that the budget was within a $1.035 billion, that too excluding the cost of the land. The garden was referred to or seen in many movies like THE PLANET OF XANDAR in the Guardians of the Galaxy, in Hitman: Agent 47 and also in the 2015 famous video game Call of Duty: Black Ops III. An anime series called the Plastic Memories took inspiration from the supertrees of the gardens and featured it in.
It was initially built in that way by keeping in mind to make it a “Garden City” to a “ City in a Garden”. There was an idea of raising the quality of life by enhancing the greenery and flora of the city by building this.
Just by looking at it will make you feel that you are not even on Earth, it feels so dream- like.
So that was all for this blog, guys. I hope you liked and enjoyed it. Will meet you in the next blog.
