Lord Shiva's first son: Swami Ayyappan

The destruction of her brother Mahishasura by Goddess Durga infuriated Mahishi, the princess of the Asuras. She therefore offered penance to Brahman in order to receive a boon of strength that could only be destroyed by the combined might of Shiva and Vishnu. She also received the power from Brahman as a consequence of her penance. Mahishi ruled the globe with an iron grip thanks to his ego. When the gods saw this, they sent Shiva and Vishnu to find a way to save all living things.

Mohini form

Therefore, in order to gain influence with Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu chooses to assume the shape of Mohini once more. All of this information is given to Lord Shiva by Lord Vishnu. Shiva requests an explanation of this kind of form as well. He is also shown Mohini's form by Vishnu. When Lord Shiva saw Mohini in that lovely form, he was captivated and joined Mohini. Hari and Haran unite to form Swami Ayyappan, a powerful being born. Born as an unstoppable superpower, Ayyappan.

Vishnu gives the newborn a garland made of bells. That's why Swami Manikandan is also used to exalt this divinity. Ayyappan is referred to as Ayyanar, Shasta, and Sattappan in Tamil Nadu. In Keralan mythology, the story concludes with Ayyappan being adopted by King Pandalam/Pandalam and Ayyappan accomplishing his quest to defeat the demon princess Mahishi. In Tamilnadu mythology, the story finishes with the birth of Ayyappan.

Ayyappan's childhood:

The king of Pandalam, in the Chera area of Kerala, took Ayyappa in as his son. Raja Rajasekaran was the ruler of Pandalam during the time. Another theory holds that he was a monarch of the Pandya people. A young child was crying by the banks of the Bombay river when the king heard it and went hunting. After he had the child, he proceeded to the palace. He gave the infant to the queen.
Both the king and his wife Perumal had a deep devotion to Shiva. Without an heir, none of them had ever yearned to sit on their thrones. Because of their love, they regarded him as a kid that God had given them and embraced him as their son. Manikandan.

The queen also gave birth to a son in the interim. However, Manikandan was regarded by the king as his eldest son. As a result, he chose to make him prince (heir). The minister to the monarch, Manikandan, had no desire to become a prince. He therefore opposed coronation.
Thus, he had a change of heart and, with his allies, captured the queen. He encouraged the queen to disagree with the king's choice. That's why Manikandan claimed to have excruciating stomach discomfort on the day of his coronation. For this, he used a fictitious doctor to conduct a scenario in which he claimed that the ailment could be cured by tiger milk.

How Mahishi Was Killed by Lord Ayappa in the Sabarimala Forests
Manikandan himself promised to carry the tiger's milk as no one else volunteered to take it. That was anticipated by the Minister and the Governor. The king made an effort to stop it. However, Ayyappan entered the forest after declaring that he valued his mother's life. The king was pleading with God for Ayyappan's resurrection. Ayyappan entered the woodland and engaged in a face-to-face combat with the lethal Mahishi monster.

Perched atop a tiger with tiger milk surrounding its pups, Manikandan walked through the palace gate. Upon witnessing Ayyappan's deity, the minister expressed regret, claiming that his acts were all part of a plot, and he was worshipped for the good of the nation. Following this deed, Ayyappan vanished.

Ultimately, the king granted his foster-father one more darshan but declined food, stating that he would not eat anything until Manikandan returned. After giving the king an embrace, Ayyappa gave him moksha, or salvation.

The king asked Ayyappa to enable him to build a temple for him. So Ayyappan launched an arrow and declared that a temple might be erected at the location where it intersected. Thus, the arrow reached the summit of Sabarimala. Ayyappan also discussed how to do the Sabarimala Yatra. He also emphasized the value of penance and fasting what devotees may accomplish through his darshan. The holy Sabarimala Temple is currently located north of the holy Bombay River. He also pledged to emerge as Makara Jyoti, a dazzling flame in the sky, on the 14th of January every year to celebrate Thai Pongal.
