Today I am talking about one of the biggest conglomerate industry that is the ReLiance Industry. Pretty sure you must know the name of this company Reliance.
When you think about this company you must remember the name Dhirubhai Ambani and their sons Mukesh and Anil Ambani.
Their respective Industry petroleum, telecom. Right?
So today I am talking about the story of how reliance become the largest exporter of mangoes in the world .
Let's go back to 1997 that time Reliance face a huge problem because of their Jamnagar refinery creates severe air pollution So environmental board give notice to Jamnagar refinery after seeing this as a threat Reliance Began to develop a wasteland of jamnagar into a mango orchard near the refinery as way to control air pollution as much as possible.
After some years mango orchard give huge amount of mangoes of different varieties so they started exporting that mangoes to different countries.
Now come back to the present time that orchard now known as "Dhirubhai Ambani Lakhibagh Amrayee" is asia best mango orchard with more than 1.3 lakh plants of over 200-300 species within last 8-9 years they make that wasteland completely lush green countryside.
Mango produced in that orchard are of excellent quality and exported as a global level. Reliance now grows 127 varieties of mango trees to beat Israel and Brazil in productivity.
Hence you all know how they convert their demerits into merits?
The moral of this story...focus on your weakness to improvising into a strength.
Now look at this data which is published by economic times. This data show how reliance change their threats to opportunity .
Not even they increase their turnover while on the other hand they give a huge benefits to environment also.
As we all know Reliance make a disadvantage to advantage so many ways if we talking about JIO is also a perfect example .Everyone thought if they sell sim card for free they face huge loss actually at that moment they just create a customer through free services when free service is over they have a huge competitive advantage against their competitors Airtel, idea , Vi and now everyone knows other telecom industry expect jio face a huge debts and vi and idea merger to reduce debts..airtel has to pay a 37k crore and Reliance even face a competitive advantage against their competitor so we can say that After Dhirubhai Ambani…their son mukesh ambani has a great vision and strategies.
