Kerala Traditional Curry Tomato Rasam

                Hello everyone. How are you. I'm good.I hope that you all are good. So today I'm came with an delicious recipe called tomato Rasam in Kerala style. Rasam is very famous dish in kerala. In the onam festival Rasam is the important dish. So we can also make it and enjoy it's flavour.Come let's go for the recipe..

lets start this recipe with the ingredients. So you can able to find the things easily to try this recipe. This recipe is for 4 members. In my home we are 4 members. So I explained that quantity. Ok let's start come on 
Tomatoes - 5
Coriander seeds-2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Garlic cloves- 10
Ginger - 2 inch
Pepper seeds - 2 tbsp
Tamarind - 1 lemon size 
Green chilli - 2
Dry red chilli -4
Turmeric powder -1 tsp 
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Fenugreek seed - 1\2 tsp
Asafetida powder -1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - for taste
Coriander leaves -  our wish
Curry leaves - our wish
Step:1
First of all we have to soak the lemon sized tamarind in 1 glass of water and keep it aside.
Step:2
Take the mixer jar and add 1 sliced tomato, 1tbsp cumin seeds, 2 tbsp coriander seeds, coriander leaves,2 tbsp pepper seeds, 10 garlic cloves and 2 inches of ginger.
Graind it finely without adding water.
Step:3
Heat the pan and pour 2 tbsp of oil. After the oil get heated add 1tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp fenugreek seeds, 4 dry red chillies and curry leaves.when they get roasted,add  the grinded mixer and turmeric powder  into the pan. Stire it well. 
Step:4
After 1 min add the 4 sliced  tomatoes and 2 green chillies into the pan and Stire it well while the tomatoes become soft. When the tomatoes are become soft then  strain the tamarind from water and pour it into the pan and stir well and closed with lid. 
Step:5
When the curry is started to bubbling add  1tsp of asafetida powder and pour 4 glasses of water and  add salt for taste.cook it while the bubbles started to come. Last but not least add coriander leaves into the curry and turn off the stove. 
Now the Kerala style tomato Rasam curry is ready to serve. It is the best combination with rice. In older days it is used as a medicine for cold and cough. It is an anti agent of cold virus. So everyone try this amazing recipe into your home and be healthy and good. Thank you
