A cadaver is a dead body of a person that is usually given to the medical college,so that the medical students can do their own research and studies on the human body. The difference between a cadaver and a dead body is that :- the dead body is usually either burned or buried in the ground but the cadaver remains in the medical college and parts of the cadaver are usually dipped in different solvents to preserve them.Usually the term cadaver is used to respect the dead person as his/her body is given to medical college and medical students for their studies and practicals. Usually the parts of the cadaver are stored in cadaver spoon. The parts such as hand, fingers, leg, fingers etc. The fingerprints of the cadaver are collected by cutting out the epithelium layer of the finger print that consist of epidermal ridges these epidermal region of the skin is placed between two glass slides with formalin to preserve them. The word cadaver comes from the latin word cadere.Usally cadaver's are used to study human anatomy. The structure of the bone, the shape of the bones and also the length, density and weight of bones. The different parts of a human body are studied by the help of cadaver. In fact cadaver has both medical and legal importance. The scientific community uses cadavers for a variety of purposes. The fact that cadavers have given research a wealth of knowledge about the anatomy of the human body is one of the most significant aspects of their employment in science. Scientists were able to explore the human body more thoroughly thanks to cadavers, which led to the identification of specific organs and body parts. The earliest scientists to use cadavers were two Greeks, Herophilus of Chalcedon and Erasistratus of Ceos, in the third century B.C. Herophilus made numerous discoveries about the anatomy of the human body through the dissection of cadavers, including the distinction between the four ventricles in the brain, the identification of seven pairs of cranial nerves, the distinction between sensory and motor nerves, and the discovery of the cranial nerves.Cadavers were employed to make automobiles safer before crash test dummies were created. Cadavers have aided in establishing standards for automobile safety equipment like laminated windscreens and seat belt airbags. Lawrence Patrick used his own body and the bodies of his pupils to explore the limitations of the human body before creating the first cadaver crash test dummies in the 1930s. He threw a cadaver down an elevator shaft as his first cadaver use. He discovered that the human skull can sustain up to 1.5 tonnes of force for one second before suffering any harm.
