πŸŒ›Before turning in for the day, make sure your child's school uniform and bag are ready and school shoes polished.

πŸŒ›  Make sure homework is completed before dinner. This will ensure you don't have to stay up late or wake up early to finish homework.
πŸŒ›  Get your child to help you tidy up their room, put away the toys and make the bed.
πŸŒ›  Your child should change into a nightsuit, brush her teeth and be ready for bed thirty minutes before her bedtime.
πŸŒ› Once changed and ready for bed, avoid rough play and television. Create a quieter atmosphere that induces drowsiness.
πŸŒ› Dim the lights in the bedroom. You can play some soft, slow, soothing music.
πŸŒ› Read a bedtime story to your child. Keep enough time aside for this so that you can answer all the questions that she asks as you
read.
πŸŒ› If your child is uncomfortable in the dark, turn on a lamp with a low wattage bulb in the room, at least till she falls asleep.
πŸŒ› If your child sleeps alone, keep a dim light on at night in the passage or hallway outside.
πŸŒ› Sleep requirements vary but a preschooler or primary school child does need about ten hours of sleep to be alert and fresh the next day.
