Can You Trust a Doctor ? This is the question which is being discussed in every household of India we as a nation are going backwards in some aspects instead of going forward the trust in doctor medical facilities and institutions is being lost continuously the reason yes we are here to talk about the reasons

There was a time in ancient India when doctors were respected very much and were considered gods because of their selfless love and care and affection towards their patients

People loved and respected doctor so much that they were considered as a part of their family we still here the phrase he or she is my family doctor but as 20th century and the mark of globalisation and urbanization entered our life everything is slowly changing and day by day trust in on doctors as a reducing continuously there are many reasons for it

1 : Multinational Companies Acquisition of Hospitals

Due to increase in in the the new technology which is changing day by day and the need for more sophisticated and smart technology in our life the instruments and the digital machinery has increased tremendously which has result in increasing the cost of a hospital in every way the land acquired by the hospital is mostly in the the heart of the city or in the area where there is Rush and the land prices are very high so to set up hospitals millions of rupees are required and after setting up a hospital millions are also required to maintain Hospital hiring staff hiring smart doctor's experience doctors hence big multinational come into picture they help the hospital set up and everything that is needed but they  are professional people they work they invest so they need an investment bank with profit margins big fat profit margins and they deserve it too because of the value they provided to the infrastructure but there is something called targets in most of the multinational hospitals and clinics doctors are given targets that they have to to get patients do certain treatments n at the end of the month they have to show to the authority how much money they scored out of the patience wallets

Patient in such institutions are nothing but target humans are not treated as humans humans are treated as business

We cannot deny the fact that there are more lives saved because of the higher level of infrastructure and medical facility but if a doctor has greed if a multinational company is selfish then such condition can do more harm then good

2. The *Test*

whenever you go to a doctor most of the time before writing up any medications doctor will tell you to get certain blood test urine test or radiological examinations that is X Ray to be done 

If we think about it such a way it is a double edged sword 

The technology these days has allowed us to even watch and observe single small problem inside the body show if a doctor does blood test he can know if there is some small issue so he can just target that small issues like a sniper instead of using machine gun like medications on a patient and given him unnecessary medications which he actually does not need 
example if a lady is feeling lethargic and weak she goes to a series of small questionnaire after that a doctor will tell her to get a calcium test done _blood calcium test if blood calcium is low doctor made just give her some calcium medications or vitamin d3 this technology has allowed us so that we do not to pump unnecessary medications in our patient because the truth is giving unnecessary medications can cause more harm than good imagine if there are no blood test of such nature in the world then what will happen for snowfall doctor will give patient the painkiller for some stress medications sleeping meds or anything but due to blood test doctor came to know exactly what he needs to give to the patient hence problem solve if patient comes to a doctor with swelling in his hand what will doctor do but he will observe and check if he is in doubt he will tell patient to get an X-ray done if patient has even a small crack doctor can treated either by plaster or medications hence a lot of stress is saved also for doctor and also for the patient
but these days increasing number of laboratories digital x-ray companies has resulted into this company try to give doctors some of the profit margin or maybe a percentage of an amount patient pay example many a times Dr is given 30 to 50% of the total amount which patient paid to the laboratory hence the relation of the laboratory and doctor is maintained but in my personal opinion I think this is wrong and it's up to debate for the people or doctor or laboratories who otherwise things that this is right if doctor gets greedy in a condition will unnecessary tell patient to get the blood test or an x-ray

In my clinic a patient requires a blood test or an x-ray from an outside company Write on the blood test or x-ray slip PGD which means full form (Please Give Discount) I don't take 30% of the patient amount because I don't feel in my heart that it is right for me to take so my patient gets the benefit of it this is my way

3. Medical College

Most of the college in our country are private colleges students have to pay lacs of rupees to be a doctor they either are children of wealthy parents or they get loans to be a doctor from the bank 
Bank needs the money in 5 to 15 years after they become a doctor and imagine if that person joins a multinational Hospital then the hospital give him target that there you you achieve those targets are you lose your job if you lose your job you will not be able to pay back the student loan in such case the doctor is inturn a victim of this and even if he want or not he will become a butcher 
These words are harsh but they are the reality of the society of the world that we live in

4. TRUST

Because of the above given reasons people  have understood these things an intern have started not press doctors hence whenever they come to a general physician in a private clinic they expect doctor to be like a magician and they loose trust if the doctor is not able to treat them in one or two days
a regular antibiotic needs 3 to 5 days to complete its work but patient has lost the patience hence doctor first get all the blood test done because he does not want to take chance of losing a patient so after getting the tests doctor gives a heavy dose of antibiotic painkiller and antacids hence patient may feel better starting from day 1 this also has a lot of Side effects but this is the practice which is going on
This is a Cycle in which patients and doctor are stuck in this...
Hence it is A Loss For All
