My Covid19 Recovery Story: One Of The Hard Times Of My Life

Hello Everyone,
This is my first blog after being recovered from COVID-19. I hope everyone reading this is healthy. Through this blog, I will be sharing my story, how it impacted me, my near ones and what all steps I took. I am from New Delhi, India and it was just the beginning of the Covid19 crisis.
I panic a lot even in normal problems that reason also made me struggle during Covid days but with all faith and blessings, I recovered from Covid 19 and come back stronger.  During that period of time, my grandfather is suffering from some neuro problem (sleeping all day, staying unconscious). Our family taking all the necessary precautions but somehow my grandfather developed Covid and all family being unaware about this taking care of him and we were in contact with him. One sudden day, he developed a high fever and had a breathing problem. We took him to the hospital and from there we got to know about him being covid positive. The same day my mother and I had a mild sore throat and fever, we consulted our dr, they suggested us take some pills like Vit C tabs and wait for 3-4 days for confirmation of covid. I am feeling very sad to share that my grandfather fought very bravely but still lost the battle. I miss him a lot. During the initial days of my covid, I faced symptoms like fever, body ache, sore throat, headache, and weakness. The sudden demise of my grandfather had a huge impact on me being constant with him during his last days, all these thoughts end up with overthinking and also fear of covid became the reason for my sleepless nights. Yes, covid impacted my whole lifestyle. It affected me in all physical, mental, and emotional ways. I am not able to work. It was a tough time for me and my family. It was all negative news and thoughts around society. We already started with Kadha, light food, having enough salads, enough rest, breathing exercises, and citrus fruits, and 3-4 times steam a day. So these were initial hard days for me.  After the demise of my grandfather, and the very next day my mother lost her smell and taste, and that day only we had our test it came positive. I will continue the rest of my story in the next blog.
Thank You
