Stress In The Pandemic

We all have been through a turmoil of emotions in the past 1 and half year of this pandemic . Looking at the situation around us people suffering from the virus , earnings being effected ,lifestyles being effected . We have seen extremes . All this has effected our mental health in many ways . 

On one hand we saw people dying due this virus and on the other was a whole different world of Netflix and Instagram reels which made us feel that we want to go out live to the fullest . It gets quite difficult to maintain our balance of mind during these times.

During the lockdown period we all either had loads of work or had lousy schedule . Some of us were tired because of the extra burden whereas some of us had literally nothing to do other than sitting around and watching movies. 

Some people lost their jobs and had to survive off their savings , some people lost their savings to survive without a job in the pandemic . It has been a rollercoaster ride so far . 

Students had to study through online classes . Many found their way to avoid studies through the camera off and mute switches and others couldn't really understand what the teacher was trying to teach .  

Students in their first year of college couldn't go to their college . Whereas students in their last year of college had to say goodbye to college on an online mode . Many are scared about their career and this puts them in a situation of stress and anxiety . 

We heard of so many people in the past 1 to 1.5 year who slipped into depression . 

To all the people out their suffering in this pandemic .We are together in this . And YES ! your Mental Health is as Important as physical health .

For many of us it is becoming really important to bring a change in our current environments . 

we could take small steps to do like :-

We could break our normal routine and a small exciting change in our day to day routine .

We could take up a hobby .

Read books that motivate us and make us believe that life is not as bad as it might seem right now. 

Stop procrastinating  and do things we have been avoiding to do .

For many people out their who are not  clean freaks , it's time to clean your room.

Take care of your self , your health ,hygiene , eating habits , etc.

Stay Home . Try and stay positive !
