What exactly do one mean by the word nutrition? We all need food to fuel up our body and what does this food consist of? Yes, the nutrients. Nutrients are the constituents of food that helps to fuel our body to do different functions.As a matter of fact all humans should know what exactly the term nutrient implies.

when it comes to nutrients, there are macronutrients as well as micronutrients. Macronutrients are the carbs, fat and protein While micronutrients consist of vitamins and minerals. So basically, these are the end products of digestion of food and these are further broken down to provide us energy. The end product of carbs, that is glucose is further broken down to water and carbon dioxide along with energy. The excess glucose is converted to glycogen and stored in the liver. The end product of proteins are amino acids, which in absence of carbs provide energy to body. Proteins also are used in repairing worn out tissues, keratin is a protein that are present in nails and hair. Fats are converted to lipids that are digested by bile salts. Fats acts as an insulation to our body. when in comes to each of these nutrients theres a whole lot to cover although in here you get  a basic understanding of each nutrients.In the absence of carbs, the fats and protein can also be converted to energy but other functions of these respective nutrients might be interupted. Therefore carb free diet is not sustainable for a longer period of time.Having a balanced diet which consist of all nutrients in correct proportions is crucial for ones well being. Therefore we must aim to attain such diet which consist of all groups that is carbs fat and protein in the ratio of 70:20:10. It is important to take care of our body for proper functioning,Therefore its necessary to be active and shed off that extra calories. The energy that is not used are stored up as fat in various places in our body. So mind you, be active to remove that extra fat resting in your lovehandles.Micronutrients consist of vitamins and minerals that are required in trace amounts which otherwise results in various health conditions. 

We nourish our bodies to be at our best version, to be able to do mental and physical work which all needs energy. Therefore its necessary to watch what you nourish yourself with in order to flourish.
