Hello everyone! In this blog is about hair fall..
Hair fall happens when hair becomes thin and weak due to various factors. One of the major causes of hair loss is hormonal imbalance among females. Hormonal changes take place throughout the menstrual cycle in women, influencing their hormones to become imbalanced. As a result, the amount of estrogen and progesterone produced increases and decreases. When the levels of the hormone increase, they send signals to the follicles to stop producing hair. On the contrary, when the levels decrease, the body produces less hair. Therefore, women experience hair loss at different times of the month.
Stress:
Stress is one of the biggest reasons for hair loss. Since we live in a highly competitive world, many people face stressful situations almost daily. These situations can lead to hair loss, hair breakage, and hair shedding. If you are experiencing any of these problems, try to avoid stress by exercising regularly, eating well-balanced meals, maintaining a positive attitude, taking time out to relax, and going to bed early.
Thyroid Disorders:
An overactive thyroid gland may cause hair loss, so it is advisable to get your doctor’s opinion if you notice excessive amounts of hair falling. You should also inform your doctor if you have experienced any symptoms related to hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, goiter, or nodules.
Medication:
If you are using any medication, make sure that your doctor knows about it before starting treatment. Many medications induce hair loss, including antihistamines, iron supplements, antidepressants, lithium, birth control pills, steroids, and some antibiotics. Do not use hair care products containing minoxidil without consulting your doctor.
Menopause:
Menopause is a condition where menstruation stops naturally after the age of 50. Women undergoing menopause lose hair faster than usual since the hormone levels in their bodies drop. In addition, hormone therapy also contributes to hair loss. Hair loss tends to occur after 45 years of age as the average woman starts to experience menopause. If you start noticing hair loss at this age, consult your doctor immediately since the problem could worsen.
Aging:
As we age, our body begins to produce fewer hormones, resulting in less production of hair. Along with this decline, hair strands begin breaking down, often causing bald spots or thinning hair. Over the course of time, hair loss becomes more pronounced until finally it is impossible to hide.
Diet:
Poor diet can exacerbate existing problems and create new ones. There's no doubt that eating junk food can have negative effects on both general health and nutrition. However, diets rich in processed foods and saturated fat can also result in hair loss.
