Hello everyone! In this blog is about whitening the teeth…
Toothpaste:
Toothpastes are great for cleaning teeth because they have abrasives (like pumice) that remove stains from teeth and polish them clean, while also having anti-bacterial agents that fight bacteria. Regular use of toothpastes also helps maintain healthy gums.
Toothbrushes:
Toothbrushes are essential for keeping our teeth clean. When brushing, make sure to brush thoroughly along the gum line between each tooth to help prevent plaque buildup. If you would rather not scrub your teeth, use floss instead. Flossing removes food particles and debris trapped between teeth. Make sure to do this at least twice daily. You should also rinse your mouth after eating as well as before going to bed.
Mouthwash:
Mouthwashes are a safe way to kill germs and bacteria on our tongue and inside our mouths. There are many different types of mouthwash, including alcohol based and nonalcohol based, for those who want to avoid using alcohol altogether. Be careful when choosing a mouthwash, though. Products containing fluoride may cause serious problems for children under six years old.
Interdental brushes:
Interdental brushes are small spongy devices that fit between your teeth to gently push out any accumulated food and bacteria. They are helpful if you cannot reach between your teeth with your fingers. These products are often recommended for people suffering from periodontal disease.
Herbal remedies:
Herbs and teas are excellent choices for whitening teeth. Mint tea and blackberry tea are great options. Lemon balm is also a popular herb for teeth whitening. Mix lemon juice with honey and apply to the teeth while you sleep. If you notice some discoloration, repeat the procedure until it disappears.
Zinc:
Zinc is one of the most commonly recommended supplements for whitening the teeth. Simply chew zinc tablets to increase saliva levels in the mouth and then spit out the saliva. Doing this will allow the zinc to work its magic on your teeth.
Salt:
Salt is another cheap and simple way to brighten your teeth. Mix 1/8 cup of table salt and 1/16 cup of warm water and drink. Make sure to rinse well afterwards.
Brush your teeth thoroughly.
Spit out any remaining mixture.
Wait about 10 minutes before rinsing again.
You can do this daily to keep your teeth white and fresh. If you find that some of the stains still remain, mix a few drops of hydrogen peroxide with baking soda to help break down old stains.
Don't brush your teeth while they're stinging:
When you're feeling like your gums hurt or your teeth sting after you eat something sweet, don't brush them right then! Instead, wait until later in the day. Your teeth may start to ache when they're exposed to acid or bacteria. Brushing your teeth when you feel this way will only spread the pain and damage to your teeth.
