DSLR:

A digital single lens reflex (DSLR) is an interchangeable-lens reflex camera. They are also commonly known as SLRs. A DSLR features two types of lenses. Either fixed focal length or zoom lens. These cameras have become popular among photographers due to their image quality while offering small size and ease of use. Additionally, they feature high ISO sensitivity range of 100–6400, full frame sensor, and manual control over shutter speed and aperture settings.

Mirrorless Cameras:

Mirrorless cameras do not require a mirror box in front of the lens. Because of the lack of a physical mirror, these cameras cannot have autofocus. Instead, they use phase detection autofocus sensors, similar to how smartphones work. Since there is no physical mirror, mirrorless cameras offer larger sensors than DSLRs. Also, they tend to be smaller and lighter. However, they may not feature the same level of autoexposure modes and controls as DSLRs.

Compact Cameras:

Compact cameras offer many of the same features as DSLRs, including autofocusing and RAW file recording. Compact cameras are often referred to as point-and-shoot cameras, since they allow users to take pictures without having to adjust any settings or focus before taking each picture. In addition, compact cameras are generally easier to carry around than DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. Most models are only capable of taking still images, though some can record video.

Cell Phone Cameras:

Cell phone cameras are built directly into mobile phones and are extremely affordable. They are designed to operate either automatically or manually. As a result, they are able to produce acceptable results, especially if someone knows what they’re doing. However, they aren’t meant to compete with dedicated cameras; instead, they should be used as a complement to them.

Camcorders:

Camcorders share many features with VHS tape cassette camcorders. They both feature a removable cassette deck, with the difference being the size of the deck and the type of tapes used. While VHS tape camcorders were once very popular, they are hard to find today. Newer models, however, are still manufactured.

Video Game Cameras:

Video game cameras are used to capture gameplay footage to upload onto YouTube and Twitch. Many people prefer using video game cameras because they produce clear audio and video, compared to those recorded with smartphone apps. The video game cameras are easily portable and allow gamers to watch and share gameplay, even after hours at a time.
