Hello everyone! In this blog is about protein rich foods….

Protein is an extremely important macro-nutrient that is vital to your body’s overall function. There are many different types of protein; each has its own purpose and effects on the human body.

Chicken:

Chicken is another good source of protein but don't eat too much. One chicken breast provides 40mg of protein while the average adult only requires 55-70mg of protein per day.

Milk:

The first food on our list of top 10 protein food list is milk. Not only does it provide calcium, vitamin D, riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin (vitamin B3) and zinc, but it is also rich in protein. One cup of milk contains about eight grams of protein. Besides being great for your bones, this food has also been proven to offer protection against type 2 diabetes.

Beans:

Beans are also known as legumes. This group of vegetables includes peas, peanuts and lentils. These plant foods are packed full of fiber, iron, magnesium and folate. In fact, some beans even contain higher amounts of protein than meat. Black beans, navy beans and chickpeas are excellent examples.

Grains (wheat, rice, barley, etc.)

Grains are a great addition to any diet because they are easy to prepare and provide a lot of nutrition. Grains are usually stored in the ground and require less time to cultivate than beans. Some grains do not need to be planted at all; they can simply be gathered from their natural environment. Many people choose to eat wheat, rice, oats, corn, and soy products because these are simple to prepare and cook and don't require any special equipment.

Fish:

Fish is a great option to add to your diet if you're looking for some protein. Not only does fish taste delicious, but it's also relatively healthy. In fact, fish has the highest ratio of omega-3 fatty acids out of all animal sources. Omega-3s help keep our brains sharp and prevent depression. You can find a wide variety of freshwater fish in markets around the world.

Eggs:

Eggs are high in protein content and can be considered a complete food. They contain the 8 essential amino acids that cannot be synthesized by the body. A great way to cook eggs is scrambled with veggies and top them off with some cheese or sour cream.

Almonds :

Nuts have a reputation for being high calorie but with a little bit of portion control, dry roasted or raw almonds can make for a filling, protein-rich snack.

Thank you……
